Welcome Tyagi
It can be a difficult battle. That drop rate is about right to start with. You may have to increase it or decrease it as time goes on but it is a good beginning. If things get to bad you can always hold at that point or even go back up a couple beads until stabilizing. It is not a race so be patient. We are here if you need anything.

Smart thinking here. One bead daily sounds real good, Fishinghat has given you good advice.
If this should prove too difficult, other methods are available. In that case, come back anytime, and we will give you advice.
Do keep updating us as you start your tapering with one bead daily. We will follow you through this. We care!

First thing that comes to mind is that those with fibro have a harder time with pain during withdrawal. Omega 3 is a good choice. Be sure it is rich in EPA and DHA. Considering you are on bed rest I would make the suggestion that you read through the thread titled "and the answer to your question is...' in the Medical Support Section. It contains a review of what has worked, what hasn't and medical references/info. I think you can come away with a lot of good info.
Please stay well hydrated. As far as calcium and magnesium. Yes, they can be helpful and they can also be a problem. Calcium and magnesium compete with each other in the blood stream. So too much calcium than your magnesium drops and too much magnesium your calcium drops. The only way to successfully manage this is to get a blood test first to find out how much is in your system currently. That can then steer you in the right direction.

On your way, something like 4 beads today.
Should you feel that you're not feeling your oats, just stop the bead counting till you have stabilized. Then down we go. Lots of info on " And the answer to your question is".
Lots of members have fibromyalgia, I don't( I have enough on my plate), so I can't help you there. But I sure can say Hello Tyagi!

Hi Tyagi
I would take a little break until the dizziness clears. The active ingredient in Benadryl that helps is diphenhydramine. You might be able to find it in sleeping pills, cold medicine or allergy medicine. Dose is 50 mg. Be sure that any other ingredients are compatible with any other medication you are taking.

i Tyagi
Sorry to make this short but visitor coming so I will make it simple.
1. Good idea. Be sure it has a high epa and dha content.
2. Not bad but there is a lot of Vitamin B6 toxicity going on as super doses of Vitamin B6 is "in style" right now. With a half life of 24 days it can build up quick. Be sure your product has less than 5 mg daily if you can.
3. Calcium and magnesium compete in the body. Too high or low levels of either one can cause more anxiety or depression. Get a blood test before you try either one and see what you need. Same for Vitamin D.
4. It seems like there is a problem with ashwagandha but I can't remember what. We had a discussion on here a few years back about it but I just don't remember the issue. I will see if I saved off the information.
Sorry to make this short
PS- Check out the thread called "and the answer to your question is..." in the "Medical Support" section. It is a combination of information from past members and what they tried and what worked and what didn't. Also some medical research information as well.

"It also contains ashwagandha. Seriously, most of this sounds promising BUT the plant contains fairly high level of steroids and long term testing would be wise.

Both have been effective for many of our members. It is really a personal preference. How to take it depends on strength on the gravol, just follow package directions. It doesn't matter on the ginger but chewing on ginger root of ginger lozenges works faster than the caps.

You were in full blown withdrawal at 12 beads, that is where it would have been needed of you to stabilize by going up a few beads and stay there for a while.
So go back to the number of beads where you were doing ok. Stay there for a week or two, then, if one bead a week is needed to remove, it's ok. No hurry, it was done a bit too fast, but then, I understand your hurry to get rid of this stuff. Go slow Tiagi please.

With my head swimming at times and having to count more than once or twice, I just cited to purchase a scale. I continued with the with drawl using the scale until approximately 35 beads were left. That was using a 5% reduction every 7 to 10 days.
Sense the scale became so sensitive. I had to go back to counting beans. I am now at 26 beads. I started the reduction at one bead every two or three days. That has gone well with no side effects. I have now just cited to do the one bead reduction every two days. If that proves unsuccessful I will go to every three days before reducing a bead.
I am so tired of counting and Wayne. It will be about a year until I am totally waned from this horrible drug.

I’ve kept precise records of this journey just in case I have problems down the road. My doctors going along with me but had it not been for this website I have no idea where I would be today. Probably hospitalized or worse.
I’m 72 so I want quality of life and not full of drugs.
One thing about this reduction (given Cymbalta for anxiety) I have learned how to manage my anxiety.

This is the time to really slow down and I mean slow. First of all I would stay at your current dosage until you feel better. That could even take a month but that's OK. When I started to drop again I would probably start with one bead a week. I know it is hard to be patient but it pays off.
