O.k. I've been weaning for a week - started every other day - then cut down dose. Haven't taken any cymbalta yesterday or today. Yesterday my 9 yr. old son injured himself quite badly at school and I was called to come - they were calling an ambulance. He was supposed to be home early and fell outside of his classroom head first onto a ledge while he was waiting for his bus to be called. Talk about STRESS. I was in a fog. My emotions were all over the place when I got to the school, but I kept my composure for him (although I could not look at his injury on his forehead - was told it was pretty bad). Took the ambulance to the hospital - this whole time praying I wouldn't pass out from the w/d symptons, dizziness, or stress of the situation. He luckily did not have to stay but ended up with 24 stitches. He was pale and lethargic for some time but he perked up after a few hours. I was really scared - it was chaotic at the school. And EMT's, nurses, etc. all told me he has a pretty bad laceration. I guess I just needed a place to vent. It's been awful. He looks much better today and I am dizzy - but we get to hang out together. I learned yesterday how much good there is in people. Although my son and daughter have visited the E.R. a number of times, I've never experienced this type of situation. The school and my friends, all who helped out with my son and my daughter (who's 6), were remarkable. I am glad I was not taking cymbalta - I needed to feel these emotions. It's overwhelming. Thanks for listening:)
