    Decided to quit because of horrible side effects. After looking at some things online, I went to my doctor, whom I now know is clueless, for help. She said, "Most people just quit." She reduced my dose to 30 mg. per day, told me to continue that for 2 weeks, then take 30 mg. every other day for another 2 weeks. Then stop altogether. I've been having dizziness, brain fog, terrible diarrhea, insomnia, nightmares when I do sleep, and sweats since starting down this path. Today...

i was stupid and went from 40mg to 20 mg for a few days and then nothing. I reinstated the day after back to 40mg. The withdrawl symptoms went away after a few days but then the cymbalta flu continued for 3 weeks. I am now at the end of 4 week and feel better but not 100%. I thought that since i reinstated so quickly that I wouldn't have such a horrible time but it has been horrible. My doctor said that she always does a cross taper with prozac or lexapro.
