ive been on this pill for almost a year i can not take the sweats or the wieght gain i musta gained 30lbs i want to go cold turkey is this a good idea

Please go over stopping this drug with your prescriber. Pretty much we all are posting here because we want off of it.

You didn't say what dose you were taking. There are people who have successfully weaned in the Weaning section of this forum.

But please, save yourself some grief and heartache and make sure you have a doctor's help with this. SLOWLY do not just stop. Some people reported that combining prozac along with tirating Cymbalta was successful.
