Please, do not go from 60mg to nothing. Talk to your prescriber and if they don't listen, get to another doctor.

I went cold turkey for 45 days, and am now having some relief with a very low dose of another anti-depressant, called Celexa 10mg. It has taken the edge off of a very trying time.

Cymbalta worked for me the first 9 months + or -. I took it 3.5 years. I went from 30mg down to nothing, as my (old) doctor told me to. Boy was he wrong.

Please check out the weaning section, there is a woman who had her doctor work with prozac and she eliminated the withdrawal symptoms and is now anti-depressant free. Please, I implore you, don't drag out the agony.

At day 45 of cold turkey, I saw a new doctor, one who told me that I was tirated down TOO FAST leaving me an emotional wreck. I shook for the first 40 days. But after a month and a half of barely functioning, it was time to call in some new troops.

Don't try to do this on your own without some help. Suffering does not have to happen during this withdrawal if you have a doctor who will work with you through this.

Everything decision you do must be somebody else. Get the doctor to help you solve it. Not all people has suitable with cymbalta. And not all people should take cymbalta. So before you take any cymbalta, please get advice for the doctor. If still pain after you get the cymbalta, please find the others doctor. Maybe they will help you better. Do not easyly take cymbalta without any guiode from the doctor.

oh mama of 2 little ones I am aching for you!! Go get some help to taper less intensely, there are 30s and 20s, and I know it sucks but its worse to cold turkey it. find out about the pain killers and nausea meds to help and definatley get another antidepressant to contain your serotonin. you are already living in hell with the fibromyalgia, you don't need this!! you are not alone or crazy or anything. You are an awesome mother taking care of precious babies. You take care of yourself okay? Be good to you, no beating yourself up for the cymbalta's crazy making.
May the God of the Hope of Easter give you hope in your darkness. remember you are not alone here, we are all here hollering in agreement with you!
