I am disabled with chronic pain and I have diabetis, so it was doing a lot for me. Also, I have been on anti-dressants, various and can elaborate, for about 12 - 13 years, with minimal effect except for the first months or so on prozac. So, can anyone fill me out as to the lay of the land?

I've been using it about 6 months. There was such a startling change in the pain I felt it was like I had my life back. In the mean time, and that's right, I've gotten to where I can't walk down the street or go food shopping without taking a large bite out of some petty "offender's" head. So it's been about 24 hours since I've taken one and I sho do have the heeby-jeebees. I face criminal damages (resulting from a "pain management specialist's office.

Bob-
What made you go off of it? I had pain with my depression too and that is why they put me on it in the first place. I have been on a patch called EmSam for about a week now. . . It is about 8 in my list of anti-depressants that I have tried.
For me- the lay of land is- look at the topics- see what you need the most encouragement in. This place has stopped by tears and feelings of isolation on more than one occassion. It sucks having these horrible withdrawals, but it is nice knowing that somewhere- someone understands the pain.

If you have to, get a cab and sit in your doctor's office until they see you. You have many other prescriptions in your system, I know that you are in pain right now. And I know that you are trying to take an active part in being a healthy human, a right we all have.
But as you said, you are suffering. Help is available, I know that you might not trust your doctor right now, but believe me, if you are in the shape you describe, there is no way that they will not try to help you relieve some of your suffering.
We are all worried for you. Please, do not try to tough this out another day on your own.
