Hi BJ

Stopping Cymbalta (or any anti-depressant) cold turkey is NOT recommended. It is not the time it takes for the drug to be out of your body that is the problem, it is how long the body takes to return to its pre-medication way of functioning.

The pain you are feeling is a common withdrawal symptom. What dose were you on? It might be worth getting back on a lower dose - lower since your body is already adjusting to being without it - and tapering slowly. I'm not from America but I understand Drs have samples that don't cost anything.

Kind regards
Junior

Joining because I'm getting off Cymbalta after 2 years and eight months.

Cymbalta is used to treat pain.... even if you don't have pain. So then when you come off of it, you're likely to start getting pain. It sucks.
