My doctor said in a few weeks I could start weaning on cymbalta. I was taking 90mg for a year. Well, I was getting tired of all the side effect so two weeks ago I stopped cold turkey. OMG! I had no idea it would be like this. I am sick to my stomach 24/7, I hurt and have body aches head to toe, and I'm an emotional mess. How long can I expect to have these symptoms?
No one can tell you how long it's all going to last, but you are going against what even the drug company themselves say - that you shouldn't drop these sorts of drugs cold turkey.
If you don't want to suffer these symptoms, you need to reconsider the approach. You will have far fewer symptoms weaning slowly.
