I am glad I found this site because Cymbalta in itself is a struggle and a half that no one can fully understand. Unless you find others going though it too.
There are lots of thread hijackers here though. And that is why I will probably quit.

I made the choice to go down from 60mg every other day (or when I get uncomfortable beyond the side effects, up to 3 days) to 30mg EVERY day to see if my huge list of symptoms and withdrawal subside.

Currently I haven't taken anything in 3 days. I am out and the last pill almost made me vomit in a store, I chugged Pepto before I even made it to the counter to buy it. When I got home I was so dizzy that I ate a pound of strawberries and passed out pathetically. So I have been stalling getting my prescription. I am leaving the house to get them after this. I have to walk because I get motion sickness like you wouldn't believe now.

I feel..
-A mild headache.
-Sick/pain to my stomach like I ate "slightly" bad meat.
-Woke up with fear, that's why I am going to get the pills.
-Pressure, everywhere.. I think. Ghost pressure? Mainly in my head.
-Still have thuds in my ears when I swallow but not nearly as loud as a day I take a pill. Congestion?
-Chest pains. Like an air bubble, not a heart attack.
-Thirsty (drinking also helps that weird eye thing for most people, me included).
-That weird eye thing. I almost feel like it's a quick black out, or like I warp to where I am trying to look and back in a split second, (makes me dizzy).
-False alarm bathroom cramps.

For those interested I will report back after I've taken a half pill. I will tell you the differences in side effects.

Have you tried a dosage in between 60mg and 30mg????? For example trying 45mg?????
So you won´t make a huge drop from 60 to 30mg???

No, I haven't tried anything but taking 60mg at random times. I took half a pill. I wish I could say I feel better but you just take the list above and add:

-Hungry.
-Stoned.
-Euphoric about nothing.. Seriously, a can of rice pudding made the world a better place.

So yeah I feel like I got "my fix" and that's about it. I will keep posted.

I had a nap and woke up feeling a great deal better. My eyes are open too far, but I am feeling fine. And just like 3% of a headache if that makes sense? And I obviously am having focus problems cause this is all over the map. I will let you know of any changes in health or weening. I have bookmarked this page. I typo'ed the title, that's funny xD.

If the symptoms are unbearable it will be useful if you weaned slowly

I appreciate your concern cookie, since that is a big drop for you and I fully understand because I've got my Tylenol 1 addiction down to 2 pills at a time, from SEVEN! And I just can't go down that last pill because 50% of "not much" is "trace". So although 30mg is seems like trace amounts to some, it is still an elephant tranquilizer to me xD

I slept good, very deeply.. I actually woke up and I was already sitting up staring at my mess (I dreamed that I cleaned lol). That was weird. I slept most of the time I have been gone but that sometimes happens. I like the sleep so it doesn't effect my emotions. My life is often better and more interesting in dreams. The nightmares are plenty because of the pills but it am not TOO scared because my anxiety is curved.

I am eating again, after three days without a pill I actually spit out food and once wasted my dinner. I now see why I gained weight. I actually forgot that the "real me" A. Doesn't eat gross food, B. Get's full.

I may have to try another drop very soon because I am still stoned and eating loads. I had a gallbladder attack because I have been eating too much. It is just not me, I feel like I am wearing an apron of fat. Not that I will ever be thin, but looking less than 7 month pregnant would be nice.

I felt really sick a couple times today and medicines and fruits don't stop it like normal nausea. Has anyone found something that works? Pepto only seems to work on motion sickness but not on normal, every day Cymbalta stomach upset. Not for me. And it made my tongue, teeth and bowel movements black. It doesn't last but it isn't sexy.

Dear ErinLove:
I just read in a book that ginger helps with nausea and stomach. I am not a doctor though.

The nausea went away on it's own. I think it was there mainly to bully me into taking it more often. I skipped yesterday and today it reminded me with a headache. Now that I have taken it (a 60mg dumped out to roughly 30mg)I feel like I am strung out on crack. For those who haven't tried crack it is just a super dangerous and expensive way to feel like your eyes are open too far and your heart beating too fast. There is a vague high that makes some people feel good and some people feel awful and paranoid.
Not much difference except people don't die on Cymbalta do they?

Anyway, I get less happy about taking it by the day, which is ironic because my depression and anxiety is gone. Taking this drug vaguely reminds me of Listerine bums. They are pathetic, sad and addicted but at least their breath is minty fresh. Know what I mean?

Well I don't feel weird like my last post lol but I have some bad news. I tried 30mg for however long I said and the "old me" came back! The unreasonably scared, crying like someone died, lump in my throat, screaming inside my head ..me.
I just found out my sister had a baby and she wanted to come here, I freaked out inside. So I went back up to 60mg every one or two days (starting 3 days ago, I am already calmer albeit sleepy). I guess that is something to watch out for if you plan to get off any prescription drug. You just might actually need them. I am as bummed as 60mg will allow lol

Dear ErinLove:
You have to analyze if your "old you" came back, if the crying and scare person is you and not cymbalta.
I tell you this because I am not a person who cries ofen and during withdrawal I have had crying outburst.
It´s hard for me to know who is the REAL ME, since I´ve taken cymbalta for 5 years and I do not know who I am anymore
