I came down from 60mg to 30mg last year over a period of about 5 months. Now I'm coming down from 30 to 20 and looking for other people's advice and experiences

I take my capsule between 9-10 a.m. I notice that at about 3 p.m. I start really feeling the withdrawal symptoms, usually either emotional or physical, and they peak for about 4 hours and ease off again. I am dizzy most of the time and nauseous, but it is tolerable until about 3. I had to go home from work yesterday at 3.30 because I was getting tunnel vision and feeling so sick and then tearful.

I think I probably don’t notice the symptoms so much when I am at home relaxing, they seem much worse at work anyway because it is more important that they don’t interfere with my functioning. It is weird that I am OK in the morning, it doesn’t seem to make much sense. If I were adjusting to the new dose (I’m two weeks into 22mg down from 30 at the mo) I’d adjust full stop, not just for a few hours at a time.

I am going to have to take at least another week to stabilise I think. The last dose was much easier to get used to, I am blaming my hormones for the delay because the two together seem to make things pretty hellish.

I'd be interested to hear what anyone else has found with this timing aspect.

I have just quit cold turkey from 60 MG to zero It's still my first week, and to be honest, I am having some extreme struggles. Inotice the difficulties more at work as well. Driving home last night I was overcome by nausea and barely made it home in one piece.

Arriving home, though, I folded nicely back into a peaceful routine of the night and was able to move through the time easily. Doesn't make sense to me. I find mid afternoon the opening to difficult times, with a steady increase until I manage to actually go home and remove myself from the stress of my job (I am the boss).

I don't know how long this will take, but I am looking forward to being finished with the process. Good luck!
