    trying to get off cymbalta

Posted 25 August 2010 - 09:59 AM

Iam so glad to be able to give hope and positive energy to those trying to wean off the Hell called cymbalta.i was on 60mg for about one year for nerve pain.I wanted to get off the drug and the epidurals.I am trying alternative, natural ways of dealing with my problem and am doing very well.Actually better than the drugs and injections.Anyway, back to cymbalta.I cut from 60mg to 30 mg overnight, then 30mg for a week, then suppose to do 30mg every other day.I went thru the hell most of you are familar with.So about a month ago i just decided i was DONE!!...Have not taken any cymbalta since.Yes,it was very hard for a couple weeks then slowly got better.I am just about 100% free of symptons. It was not easy to get here.Just take one day at a time.some things that might help you as i believe they did me are:omega3(fish oil capsules)B12 complex vitamins, lots of gator aid and finally dramamine when i got real dizzy. So hang there, stay tough,it will get back to normal eventually. Oh,and yes come here everyday for support.

    weaning from cymbalta

It is good to hear another person has escaped the grips of Cymbalta. I too am free of it. I weaned slower than you but I am doing great with no symptoms at all anymore. We need more people to come here and see that it can be done. Congratulations to you. And hope to all who are in the process. Just keep swimming. Above all, when you think you are totally losing it, just know its the drug and NOT YOU. It will get better. Just a matter of time.
