I've been on Cymbalta for many years, I don't even know how many. But I want to get off this drug. I never knew what that would entail, or that maybe it was doing stuff to me at the 120mg dose. I took it for depression, but I wanted to know if I still need it, and I can't know that unless I go off.

I'm finally free too. But I had to take a short cut. I couldn't continue the last few weeks of counting down. I was going down slowly, and then after a few mishaps with the beads spilling all over, I got so aggravated that I went down in increments of 5 beads a day until I was about 25 beads a day. Then, I stayed there for a few days and then stopped. I didn't feel anything worse than I had been feeling, but I would not recommend this to anyone since I'm not as in touch with my side affects as most people. And, I'm on many other rx's. But now I'm 2 weeks post-cymbalta and I'm so teary and I feel my body gets these shakes. I feel cold, then boiling hot. And my sleep is still messed up, although having sleep apnea, it's pretty hard to tell what the cause of any sleep relat4ed problem is. So, I basically was checking here to see if my symptoms were related to cymtalta withdrawal, or my other problems.

Congrats on your achievement!!! I'm proud of us both. I just hope things go back to as 'normal' as things can be. My only wish is to warn people just rx'ed this med what the cosequences are in the long run. No one told us, obviously. Maybe at the time the problem was worse than these possible withdrawal symptoms, but I would have liked a heads up anyway.
