Coming off of Cymbalta and feeling horrible.

As one of the unfortunate many who are experiencing the horrendous withdrawal symptoms associated with Cymbalta, I am struggling to make sense of what helps or hurts my journey through this process. I have yet to find a site with all the answers. One question that I have after a week of this struggle is related to coffee. I am a lifelong coffee drinker who wonders if caffeine is prolonging my agony. What say you good people?

To see if what withdrawals others get. How long it may last?

Hi,

I usually drink coffee aswell, but was told by my doctor to stop (this was even when I was taking cymbalta).
Though i still have coffee, though smaller quantity (once a day if not at all), I do feel a bit better.

The only problem you have is caffine withdrawls.

Weening off of Cymbalta and would like to know what to anticipate regarding side effects

I work at a coffee shop, so naturally I am a Caffeine addict. . . In my experience caffeine has desperately prolonged the side effects of getting off of cymbalta.

Because I keep experiencing adrenaline dumps with the brain zaps since the withdrawals started, I subconsciously started cutting out coffee and my water intake is through the roof.... This was not done on purpose but seems to be helping me through the withdrawal allot. Craving tuna fish and sushi too so I have to think there is something to the fish oil supplements mentioned throughout the site as being helpful.
All I can say is thank God for this site, I don't feel crazy and more important I don't feel alone any more.
