Dear Beautifulunatic:

Since I started weaning I´ve also had black outs in which I do not remember what happened, extreme mood swings (worst part of withdrawal), short tempered.

When you say you´ve had psychotic episodes what do you mean by psychotic?????? Did you have these symptoms before taking the medication??? Or are they new????

I am not a doctor. Can talk only based on my own experience and the posts I´ve read on this site. One of the things I´ve learned is that the body is very sensitive to drops at lower dosages. Maybe your last step down from 7,5mg to 5mg was actually a huge drop. (it has taken me 4 steps in 4 weeks to do that drop). I read on this site that one should make drops of 10% of actual dosage each time. Now that I am at lower dosage, I am going to go -specially slow- now. I rather make safe drops, than bigger drops and then feel bad –all the time- Again, I am not a doctor, and even in my case, I am not sure if I am going to still suffer full withdrawals once I get down to 0mg.

I am so sad to hear that this is the worst withdrawal you´ve had in 15 years of medication. I only took one medication prior to this one, and didn´t have withdrawal problems

Beautifulunatic, please keep me posted, I am also at a lower dosage (4mg) and getting to the end. Maybe we can support each other from now on .
