Just want to tell everyone that depression sometimes has to do with low vitamin D3 level, especially in the winter months or if you work indoors and get very little sunshine. I have transcribed medical reports for 19 years almost, and when patients come in with depression, doctors oftentimes recommend 20 minutes of sunshine daily. Sunshine is what causes our bodies to produce vitamin D. I have had severe leg aching since the early 1990s. Never have found out why until I went to a rheumatologist who checked my vitamin D, and it was low at 23 (normal 32-100). Although it was not extremely low, it was enough to make me ache all the time. I'm sure it played a role in my depression also. I've been on vitamin D3 supplement for 6 weeks now, and I have no leg aches at all (aside from my joint pains from psoriatic arthritis).

Anyway, I recommend everyone to have their vitamin D level checked. Vitamin D causes the intestinal tract to absorb calcium to take to your bones. Good luck to all!! Hugs.
