OKAY! I dont know what day this is 4-5 ?? First it was paxil, i came. Then it was Effexor, I saw. Now Cymbalta, I Conquered?? Not yet! I am having serious brain zaps, and this is day 2 of incredible back and neck pain. I feel like batman. I cant turn my head and have to turn my whole body....I did not drive today as a result, i thought it was too dangerous..either that or im having serious lethargy. I was taking 60mg and I am in between insurance companies, moreover, i would have to pay full price to see my doctor and also full price to get my script. I suppose i could get some samples, infact, i may do so as soon as i can move my neck and shoulders. I have to change clothes atleast 3-4 times a night due to sweating like im sleeping in a toaster oven...if i sleep at all that is. The mental aspect is In and Out, however, this physical aspect of withdrawls from this goddamm drug is CONSTANT. Im sweating profusely right now as a type. I read that benedryl helps, and to basically treat these symptoms like the flu....I noticed xanax has helped as well. I dont know if i am going to continue to take this drug when my Insurance gets straight or if i am at the point of no return. God i feel like i am on speed or something. I look forward to another all-nighter :geek: If anyone has ANY SUGGESTIONS BY ALL MEANS!!! i am completely open minded, i know how serious these drugs are and they are not to be taken lightly!

Sorry, I asked you in another post how long you had been off and your dose but found it here.

Did you have a long standing relationship with your doctor before you lost your insurance? If you do and trust them, get in to see them soon to help you - ask if they will lower the price and also ask if they will let you pay in installments until you get back on your feet. Please don't rule out seeking out the help of a doctor because you are in between insurance companies, your doctor is supposed to help you and if you ask, may be very willing to work with you in all areas, I've been in situations where I had no insurance, asked what the doc could do to help me and got a really reduced rate and payment plans.

Samples of Cymbalta could be the way to go, but if you have been off for 5 days you have it out of your system. Some people here are getting through the worst of the withdrawals with a couple of doses of Prozac and it has really helped them.

If you were to start taking the Cymbalta again you run the risk of beginning this cycle all over again when you come off. Not to scare you, you will get through this. Some people get through this really quickly. Let us know how you are doing.
