Hello all you lucky people that are so far ahead of me on weening off this med. I was on 90 miligrams of cymbalta for 3 or 4 years. I did not think it was working anymore for me. My Dr. knows I am weening myself off. She prescribed effexor,I cut the dosage down to 60 miligrams, two weeks later I cut down to 30 milligrams for two weeks. Saturday I will start taking 15 milligrams for 2 more weeks and keep cutting down every 2 weeks until I am not on it anymore. I have been feeling awful tired. One of the reasons why I did not think it was working for me anymore. I was wondering if anyone has experienced this being tired when they started to ween off? When do the symptoms start, when weening off or after being off entirely. This site has been very informative for me. I have been on depression medicine for 30 some years. As far as I can recall I have been on 4 or 5 different types. No withdrawals were ever this bad. Any information would greatly be appre
ciated

Dear 'Shiannf'
I have experience extreme fatigue as a withdrawal symptom. I try to solve this through nutrition and vitamins (B complex, and Cod liver oil). In my case symptoms began since I started weaning and got worse at lower dosages
