Hi everybody. I've decided to quit Cymbalta cold turkey, just to get it over with. I've been on it for about 2 years, 60mg per day. I originally started it when a doctor put me on it for mild anxiety. Weight gain, lack of energy, etc followed. I can no longer afford to take it as (like so many people these days) I'm now unemployed. The brain zaps are here, as is the anger. I've already gleaned several tips for assistance with withdrawal. I'm really glad to see that this group is here.

In my opinion, you're asking for trouble. That's a big dose and a long time to be on that med to just quit cold turkey. I would suggest a very gradual withdrawal. Take a look at withdrawal plans from Cymballta that are here and on the web. Even if the withdrawal symptoms don't get you, it may cause you to go back into depression if you quit rapidly.
