About 4 weeks into my withdrawal from Cymbalta a psychologist friend of a friend recommended omega 3, 6, 9 to me. There's something different, a medical professional who doesn't push drugs! I thought it couldn't hurt being natural so I started taking it. Within 48 hours there was a noticeable difference in a lot of my symptoms.
This stuff is not a cure but it really helps by lifting your general well being & calming the rage. It's the 6 & 9 that make the difference. Omega 3 is in just about everything you eat. Your body can't produce these essential oils naturally & relies on food intake or supplements.
I've never really worried too much about natural remedies for anything in the past, but this is something I have tried & found to help. It may help you too. It certainly can't hurt & it's a lot cheaper than the chemical crap these doctors try & push down your throat.
Give it a few days to kick in. As I said it's not a miracle cure but if it lessens the ordeal in some way, it's got to be worth a try.

Please Try Omega 3, 6, 9

OMG!!! I have been on Cymbalta for over 2 years and I am trying to wean off so I can get pregnant. This is miserable and I can't WAIT for it to be over. There are so many times I just think it'd be easier to stay on them and adopt a kid! lol Then I read something about Omega 3 helping with the brain zaps. Of all the cymbalta withdrawals I have dealt with, the brain zaps are the worst. I can't concentrate, they make me nauseous and my head hurts and my eyes hurt and its just miserable. When I read about the omega 3 I went right out and bought some. I'm willing to try anything. I've been weaning off for 3 months now and I want to hurry and get pregnant already. SOOOO-- I was having the brain zaps and I took the omega 3 pill and OH MY GOSH I think its working. I have no idea how it works but it is and I am so excited. I still feel pressure in the front of my head and my eyes feel a little sore but when I move my eyes from side to side I don't feel the zaps. I guess we will see what tomorrow is like!!
Cymbalta was great with my depression and anxiety but these withdrawal symptoms are ridiculous!! Hopefully they can fix it for future cymbalta users.
