I started this journey of antidepressant use about 8 months ago with zoloft. After just a short time, I felt great! My mood completely stabilized and on a couple of occasions I recall even saying out loud to a friend or coworker "I feel good". After a couple of months on the zoloft, I started getting chronic headaches (these did not respond to any triptans or any other migraine treatment) Finally I was switched from zoloft to cymbalta and the headaches went away. My doctor is not sure if it was the zoloft causing the headaches, or if it was the cymbalta that helped them. Other than the daily headaches, I had no side effects from zoloft. I hear people say alot that zoloft is the devil's drug (though I am fully convinced it is the cymbalta!) I have heard of other people having terrible side effects from zoloft. Everyone responds differently I suppose. Good luck!
