I am serious. I am a 51 year old man that has been taking Cymbalta for chronic pain since early 2008. I had been up to 120 MG per day but dropped back to 60 MG about 4 months ago with some mild vertigo that lasted about 3 weeks. I recently lost my insurance and cannot afford Cymbalta anymore and through a miscommunication or someting with my PCP (doctor) I stopped cold turkey one week ago tomorrow. My PCP is trying to switch me to Prozac and I have been taking 10 MG of that the past few days.
On day 2 of my stopping the Cymbalta I started having pain from the head of my penis just rubbing against my underwear, I did not think a lot about it since I was feeling a whole lot of other symptoms. However, I am still having the pain and today I started having pins and needles pain in my entire penis and scrotum. I have not seen this mentioned on the site or in any other info on Cymbalta withdrawal. I wonder if it may be modesty that may prevent men from mentioning if they are experiencing this problem.
Have any other men out there noticed this problem?

Interesting.... I am on day 4 of drug free and my breasts are KILLING me! Just brushing my arm against
the side causes PAIN.. not tenderness... PAIN.
The worst withdrawal symptoms for me on this god-forsaken ride is the body pain and lethargy...
so to me, I blame the breast-pain on the withdrawal too...
I haven't seen posts here that talk about specific locations of the body pain... but I believe for myself
that the pain is in targeted weak areas for me.... shoulders, hips and now breasts too... ugh
Good luck in your recovery
