I have been on Cymbalta for about 7 years and have been taking 60mg 2x day. I want to get off this and try to lead a somewhat normal (what is that?) life. Can anyone please give me advice on weaning and what to expect. I have already had the brain lightning...like a thousand volts of lightning going thru ur head, like being electricuted.

I have been on Cymbalta for 6+ years, also taking 60mg 2x day. I have constant tinnitus. I am going to try to get off this after the holidays. I, too would like advice. If I am late taking the doses, or skip one, I have a lot of pain everywhere in my body.

What side effects have you noticed while taking this? I have read some pretty scarry things, that includes pneumonia. I have never had pneumonia until three years ago. Have had it six times now. Also, have taken the vaccine for pneumonia last year, but just got over another bout this past September. Has anyone else had this?

My doctor put me on a low dosage of welbutrin while I was weaning off. The first four days hurt like hell, and the brain zaps will continue for me about another two weeks.
I've been off for 5months now and have occasional ones but nothing intolerable
