So I finally saw the light with respects to the HORRIBLE withdraw I went though for almost 2 months from cymbalta.

I am still having some chronic pain in my back and hip flexors (going to PT).

Doc, knowing I DON'T EVER want to go through this withdraw again, prescribes me Tramadol for pain

I know that Tramadol has some withdraw if you consistantly take it, so I would only take it if it got bad.

Decided to read on Tramadol....

THIS F'n medicine not only has opiod component but it ALSO has an SSRI and SSNRI component!!!

OMG!!! This is crazy... Why didn't my doc tell me this!!?!

So I am trying my best not to take the tramadol...

Cymbalta withdraw was hell enough...

Trust has also been a big issue in my withdrawal. I'm going to a new doctor.
I've been on Tramadol before, I was told to only take it if I REALLY needed it. Since I've reduced Cymbalta, I've also had a lot of pain with my hips/back, physio has helped me with pilates exercises. Cymbalta seemed to worsen depression, made me insecure, which messed up my posture/alignment. I've been using heat rubs for my back, it's helping.

Before anyone tries Tramadol, I suggest you have some Benadryl tablets on hand to counteract an "itching" reaction from the Tramadol that may occur. Good luck.
