First of all
what the hell is in this drug that stopping it messes up with the whole body?
That scares me a bit.
I have been on Cybmalta 60 mg for almost a year,
I decided to stop it for various reason.
My doctor suggested tappering down the dose.
So i took 30 mg for a week then 30 mg every other day for another week. When i changed to a lower those the side effects started showing. I decided to fight with it naturally and not taking any other medication.
I finished the 30 mgs one week ago. I had terrible headaches, dizziness, diarrhea, severe mood changes, and i was so emotional but i kept telling myself this is not gonna last forever, and i have to fight with. I also told myself everyday i would feel better that the other day.
That actually happened. Now after almost 10 days, I feel much much better than when i first stopped. Before i used to have headaches all day long, now the headaches come and go. Also i am avoiding caffeinated drinks which boost the anxiety in me. When you want to wean off it naturally you should really be careful what you are eating. So yogurt, chamomile tea, orange juice helped me a lot. And somehow when i get hungry the symptoms occur. So nutritions really help.
Don't forget
You have to tell yourself you can do it.
I am a woman, and i am not willing to take any antidepressant anymore, at least not after i get pregnant. It really concerns me that what if when i am on the pill i get preganant, and my poor baby would suffer from all the stupid stuff that are in these pills.
So this is my experience
Just wanted to say, it gets better gradually.
Also during last week i slept a lot because my blood pressure was always down.
Like i said, I feel much better now.
Fight with it
you can do it
