Hi all! I'm free of cymbalta but just wanted to chime in about my PCP! I told her yesterday when we were going over my medication list I had withdrawn completely and I guess I was expecting her to congratulate me or something...anything really. Nope. Nothing. She did note however I seemed "anxious"...I couldn't believe her lack of empathy. I mean it was hell! You all know how it is! And she couldn't even say wow I can imagine what you've been through...just one encouraging word...NOTHING! This is just a post for people to know that most PCP's are CLUELESS as to not only what this drug does to us but how hellish the withdrawl process is! And I'm sure they get kickbacks for prescribing it too! I can't believe how many posts I read of people who tell their PCP's what they're going through and how many are just so clueless! To anyone who is going through the withdrawl process or already has kudos to us all for getting through it! Doctors just don't get how hard it is!
