After reading all the posts, I hear so many people are suffering from coming off of cymbalta because they have to and tapering folks. I thought I start this topic to have people who have tried supplements and post if they helped eased your pain.

I have any brain zaps and I went from 90mg to 60mg, but I got the flu-like, sore throat, and cold symptoms.

Omega 3,6,9 1200mg AM/Lunch x2 day - I didn't get any brain zaps. Eat a banana.

Leg cramps Highlands - 3 pills under tongue PM - pain in the legs or RLS (Really helps so much)

DL- Phenylalanine - 500mg Started before the wean and I will probably increase this as I decrease. I have explain both below. One crosses the brain barries to help with the low serotonin. Hopefully moods. D part is natural pain killer for all the aches and pain that creep back. The pain is intense and real, but it does go away as you maintain the cymbalta level.

Phenylalanine is found naturally in the breast milk of mammals. It is used in the manufacture of food and drink products and sold as a nutritional supplement for its reputed analgesic and antidepressant effects. It is a direct precursor to the neuromodulator phenylethylamine, a commonly used dietary supplement.

L-Phenylalanine is biologically converted into L-tyrosine, another one of the DNA-encoded amino acids. L-tyrosine in turn is converted into L-DOPA, which is further converted into dopamine, norepinephrine (noradrenaline), and epinephrine (adrenaline). The latter three are known as the catecholamines.
Phenylalanine uses the same active transport channel as tryptophan to cross the blood–brain barrier, and, in large quantities, interferes with the production of serotonin. D-Phenylalanine is a analgesic (also known as a painkiller)

Dramamine - for the dizzy spells which for me are the worst. The bonine uses meclizine which didn't help me.

My vision get very blurry, but this seems to come and go.

Fatigue- RockStar recovery helps alot.

Headaches - drinking lots of cold water. Tylenol, Advil didn't help much.

Muscle pain - soak in epson salts.

The people that are getting brain zaps more frequently. Do have more salt or less salt in your diet?
