I have been doing the slow wean for a few months (counting out beads and reducing by 4mg every week).
I have been SICK with upper respitory, cough, sinus, etc problems over and over again.
Yesterday I was diagnosed with Strep throat. Its my 3rd time being sick in the past 4 weeks.
So between the withdrawal awfulness every week when I lower my dose, and then getting sick over and over, I feel like i"m slowly losing it. I was sitting in the drs office on the exam table yesterday trying my best to hold back the tears. And that is also something new for me....since being on cymbalta for over 5 years, I also haven't cried in that long.
ANYWAY......jut wondering if I"m having a bad string of luck with getting sick over and over, or if anyone knows if this withdrawal process also compromises our immune system?
Either way, it all sucks. :(
