My wife is suffering from major Cymbalta withdrawals.

Posted 26 September 2012 - 12:47 PM

A former colleague from the UK has just informed me that a drug called Periactin has been used in the UK to limit the production of serotonin. That is all I know about it but the effectiveness of this drug is quite apparent.
A further point of interest is that the recommended dose of Cymbalta in the UK is 60mg/day. Higher levels were used in clinical trials but were proved to have no benefit over the normal dose. The question I have to ask is why was my wife given 3x the recommended dose?

I would be most grateful for any comments or replies. Thank you to people who have replied to some of my other posts; I thank you for your concern and kindness!
