I also put cover over my head and it had a calming effect and I also had that sensation of the eyes ...it is just to hard to describe.

    Cymbalta withdrawals

Posted 16 August 2008 - 09:34 PM

I've had the temperature fluctuations all along, that was one of the first side effects complaint I had about Cymbalta. When ever I exert myself like cleaning etc. I sweat something awful and my cheeks flush bright red. I'll be so glad to be off this stuff & at the same time I'm terrified to go to fast as I'm so miserable already.
I can't believe I managed to go from 90mg. to 30mg. on my own without knowing anything or what I was doing. Now I'm stuck here 30, but I did find the tapering chart here on the board so will try that.

Don't worry, plenty of people are feeling the same way. I've had temperature issues as well, I keep thinking I have a really high fever, but it's just Cymbalta being an asshole. I'm on day five of no Cymbalta whatsoever, I wish us all luck!

Hang in there!! Those first 2-3 weeks can be rough, but for a lot of people, it starts getting a lot better after about 2 weeks. I continued to get better and better, without back slides, sometime between weeks 3-4. So, you are almost there...just get through each day the best you can. When you feel better, you can meet new people and make new friends. For now, just focus on getting yourself better!
