Week 2 and the headaches are worse than ever. Also my mood has not improved. If anything I am growing increasingly unstable. I have taken to carrying a gun these days. Even tho I have a permit I,m not sure this is a good idea as I seem to be ready to snap at the slightest thing. Also I have developed severe lower back pain. Anyone else experience this? Evil med. Still here tho. good luck to all.

Hi,
First of all please please put the gun in safe hands, give it to someone that can help you. You are experiencing very "normal" withdrawals, it just takes time. Carrying a gun will not help you through this, we can help you!! I have had back pain for over a year for no reason at all, I attribute this to the Cymbalta, terrible stinging pain in my lower back and hips. Don't let this drug beat you down, you will survive this and come out of it just fine, if you are sad just crawl under the covers and cry, if you are mad punch a pillow or a wall anything but having the gun!! What kind of movies do you like? watch one and just get absorbed in it, listen to some music, let it blare!! I am going through the same thing as you and remember you are NOT alone, I know you feel like you are but we are here for you!!
Please try to calm down and let us know how you are, I check in here often and will keep an eye out for you :geek:
Jen

Thanks for all your concerned replies. I will try to take your advice and at least lock all the guns up in the safe. I guess I could let my wife change the combo. I just feel so angry sometimes I get the feeling that I need to carry, but I guess that is exactly when I shouldnt. Hell week huh. Aptly named. I am almost used to the brain zaps but there is no getting used to the headaches or should I say headache as it never lets up. I havent talked to my Dr. about any of this cuz I know she wouldnt approve. Maybe I shouldnt have gone from 60 mg to 0 in one day but at this point I cant see going back on a lower dose. Just try to tough it out without killing myself or anyone else. Kidding. Mostly. Take care and keep in touch.

Mokincaid:
I am a criminal prosecutor and a Cymbalta victim/survivor...please let your wife take control of the gun safe for a while. There is NOTHING good that will happen if you have access to the guns!! This drug makes us unable to make good decisions, so don't put yourself in a dangerous situation with access to a gun. I remember feeling those intense bouts of rage, and it is scary to think about someone experiencing those feelings in possession of a gun! It's bad enough that we have to suffer because we took this horrible drug. But, it would only make things worse if you use the gun! Hopefully, your symptoms will start getting better soon.

Thank you, In a rare moment of clarity I realized that not only am I carrying a gun but I have distributed/hidden them all over the house. LOADED. Whats up with that? I have to put them away tonight. I will take your advice and have my wife change the combo on the safe. Thanks for the warning.
