Still have the confused feeling. Benadryl helps. Has anyone else noticed that their ability to spell correctly or get the words out is impaired? Keeping myself really busy, probably the hardest thing for a depressed person to force themselves to do. The urge to give myself just a "few" pellets of a pill happens less frequently (I have not tried this, but some days really have wanted to). Cold turkey all the way. Each day, I start to feel again. I have not hit the self destruct button, but the first two weeks, I was in danger of reaching out to individuals who aren't healthy to me, thankfully, I did not.

To everyone else coming off of this stuff, be strong and realize the value of returning to your true self. Thanks for listening and being brave enough to share your experiences.

My everything is impaired. It has been 7 days since my last dose of Cymbalta. I almost feel stupid. I am so brain scattered. I just need to know approx how long before things start to get better. I have yet to talk with someone that has had the symptoms end. I was on antidepressents for about 8 years. I feel like crap.

The first week was the hardest. Everyone is individual with their own body chemistry and what their pusher (whoops, I mean, doctor) was prescribing.

Each day for me has become a little easier, brighter, lighter and happier.

Be strong, but also smart, know your own body and if you are not being safe and making good decisions, talk to a friend, your doctor, etc. Your brain chemistry is readjusting, even though technically Cymbalta is out of your system, your brain has to make adjustments.

Unfortunately, I do not think there is a magic number of days for anybody, but I send good wishes to you that today is better than yesterday was. All the best to you. Day 28 for me after 3.5 years

Hello! my name is Joan ~ i've been jumping around websites looking for some good news also re cymbalta withdrawal symotoms ceasing ~ i tapered from 30mg to approx half ~ my dr had me opening 30mg capsules & pouring out approx half for 2 weeks - then cold turkey after that...my ast dose was just 5 days ago...
while i was still taking 15 i got a severe brief dizzy spell in public - had to hold on to something & sit down...i thought i had a brain tumor...
i've been having headaches - feeling agitated & crying...
its very comforting to find out i'm not alone & i probably dont have a brain tumor but am going thru withdrawal...i see my dr tomorrow afternoon & will discuss all this with him...meanwhile, i'm just not myself...i suffered from anxiety before & am worse now!
lots of strange things going on within me...i tried benedryl but only had childrens formula in my house ... i've been taking ambian to sleep...
someone please tell me when this will end?
thanks...
