Ok, so i have been going throught the cymbalta withdrawal now for almost 2 weeks...and i am happy to report things are soooooo much better. The first 4 days i think were the worst...absolute HELL on earth  . I was mean, and sick, and dizzy, and felt like i was literally losing my mind. But......it got better. The dizziness is barely noticable now, and my attitude has greatly improved (my family and friends are very happy about that one), the only side effect that is still bothering me is that i am constantly in the bathroom! I am hoping that will soon fade too, but i am just happy that the worst of it seems to be over ;) For those of you who are coming to this site for help and understanding like i did, hang in there...i felt alone and insane, but it does get better. It takes time, and for me it was less than 2 weeks until i started feeling better....yes two weeks is too long, but it gets better.....thats the most important thing to remember, and my advice to you is to relax, stay calm, sleep whenever possible, avoid stressful situations, and almost all stimuli such as tv, shopping...anything that makes you dizzy or effects your balance. Benodryl did help me, so i do recomend it.....and just hang in there, people might not understand what you are going through..i went through that...but it gets better!

Kristi,
Thanks for posting your story and giving people hope. There are many Cymbalta Survivors on this site, and it is very important to remind people that they will get better!!

So, if anyone out there has just discovered this site and is feeling "crazy" and sick...it is the withdrawal from Cymbalta making you feel this way...and it will get better soon!! So, hang in there!!
