I withdrew from cymbalta by taking zoloft, no down dosing of cymbalta. My body jerked uncontrollably for a month. Then I was up and down on a couple other antidpressents and finally off these meds. My body has not stopped jerking. Violent jerking. No facial tick though. The neurologist calls it mylochonous and says it will go away in 6 months to a year! Has anyone else out there experienced this jerking from antidepressents?

Bless your heart, I am sorry to hear you are having that problem. I had it after I had taken Zanax every day for about 2 weeks. It doesn't take long at all to get hooked on that stuff. I would wake myself (and my husband) up at night jerking. But mine only lasted about a week.
I hope that you will not have to deal with it much longer. it's an awful feeling.
I'm tapering down from 60 mg to 30 mg of Cymbalta and I dread the withdrawal, but am willing to deal with it to be drug-free again.
