I started taking Cymbalta 3 weeks and 2 days ago. The first 2 weeks, I felt great. Slowly, I started to get tired in the 3rd week, but chalked it up to other illnesses. Well let me ask why isn't Cymbalta off the market? After reading how long it's been available, I'm amazed no one has killed themselves taking it. Friday night it all came to a head. Every symptom mentioned on the side effects struck me. I was so sick, had brain zaps (halluscinasions), body pain, extreme fatigue to the point where I couldn't talk, crying non stop and wanting to go to a sanitarium. I've begun weaning myself from 60mg's to 30mg's and altho I'm still very tired, achy and teary, I think i'm going to live. NO JOKE!! I'll be calling my doctor tomorrow, to make sure I'm doing the weaning right and go from there. This is a dangerous pill. I was on Zoloft 100mgs prior to this for years and never experienced anything like this and only made the switch to Cymbalta because I heard it was better. It's not. I only wish I had done a search before I started taking this poison. As soon as I'm feeling better I intend to write to the pharmaceuticals of this product and give them a major complaint. My sympathies to all.
