Hello everyone I am new to these forums and I wanted to get my question out there before digging in hope to get some guidance. Over this weekend my mother has started to not act herslef. It is my understanding that she was taking two 30mg pills of cybalta and her psyc switched her to one 30mg pill and 1 20mg prozac pill. And recently but im not sure when she was switch to 2 pills of 20mg prozac and none fo cymbalta. Some side effects she has are memory loss, anxiety, her face was twitching, she would also repeat things somewhat like alsimers but she sometimes does remember things, and there may be more im forgeting but if I come up with more I will post. We also recently had a tragedy in our familiy and we lost my great great grandmother wich raised my mother. So my great great grandmother was esentialy a mother to my mother. She seems to have forgoten that she past away and then remembers that she did pass away and starts crying and getting into a realy depressed state. She seems to be stuck in that cycle and keeps saying things "like my grandma did right". She seems to impersonate my great grandmother alot and she blames herself for not being able to help take care of her due to the fact that my mother has an amputated leg. From what I know now and this is only over a weeked at the ER and subtle research that I have been able to do she seems to be going through Cymbalta wihdrawals however at first I thought she was having side effects to the Prozac. I am trying to get an idea of what to expect and if this is something that she will get over over time. Thanks to anyone that has read this if you have any information that might help or recomendations please let me know. I apoligize if I am breaking any rules to this forum I just wanted to get my question out there then start my digging.
