Nothing serious Crazychic, but thanks for being so caring.
I have a torn ligament in my wrist from an old injury that didn't heal properly. Since it is an old, soft tissue problem there isn't much that can be done but specialist decided to try cortisone injection into the space between the bones.
My wrist is a little sore and fingers are stiff right now but in a day or so I should be able to use my hand more with less pain.
Hope it works.
Take care of you

Hi all
Still fighting the good fight over here.
Widthdrawl syptoms are still here and beating me down.
Not as intense and I do have some really good no syptom fre times also.
I may get through this yet.
Never again on this drug and I will be doing tons of research on any other drug a doctor wants to put me on.
Thanks for all the help and support

It hasn't helped as much as I had hoped it would. In fact with the four days it took for the swelling to go down I wish I had not bothered. Maybe it would have worked better had my wrist not already been sore and swollen.
Take care

You would think I had learned this lesson already but I had to try one more med and suffering for it lol.
Yes research, research and research some more before any meds and it I can accomplish the same thing with a change of diet I will try that before the med.
Take care

But of course that would be my luck. Yes thankfully the akathisia is settling down. It still feels like there is foreign thing in the front of my brain but it is getting smaller and the need to move is still happening but I can sit for a meal at least now.
Hubbie has told me to call and cancel dr appt I have for tomorrow as he will not take me in because he doesn't want me to try anymore meds til after seeding is done (hubbie and his brother are grain farmers and seeding is late this year so that is enough stress for him). Hubbie feels I should wait to see psychatrist first (June 25) and I am relieved that he feels that way.
Day 26 I have been feeling pretty good. I have the brain zaps here and there but overall feeling pretty darn good. Oh what a glorious day it will be when I no longer have those dang zaps! So glad to have this drug out of my system. I'm like Ron I will never take another drug without lots of research. Lesson learned, the hard way /:
Those brain zaps will go away Crazychic. You are doing so great that I am a tad jealous but mostly I am just so happy for you. Eli Lilly loses another customer and you beat Crapalta - - - Woohoo
Take care all

That is a nice thing to do Crazychic. You are such a kind person.
I want to set up a forum to come back to say once a month or so when cymptom free so that people will know that past members have succeeded in getting off and are now doing well. It seems that most forget all the help here and don't come back. I don't want to forget all the help I got here.
Of course I can't seem to stay away lol and still want to help everyone so I will be around for awhile yet I imagine.
Enjoy your time off and take care

6+ more hours of training.
Don't know if I will make it today but I am having to high level test on this training.
Hope I can pass
So much of this training is flying by without me getting it because of the Brain Zaps.
Seems the more you use and need your brain the more it ZAPS ME
Hanging tough and hoping for less symptoms moving forward.

Thanks Nancy I agree I think sleep makes the zaps stay away. I'm going to post everyday until I don't have anymore symptoms. I hope that someone who is beginning their journey will find my post helpful. I've noticed that most stop posting as they begin to feel better. Just want anyone who begins to have a day by day guide.
for some of us, it seems the journey and work is complete once they have completed withdrawal, that is great and ideally it would be that way for all.
for others, the journey has only just begun once the symptoms abate- that's when the question in mind is 'how will the 'new me' cope with life, with new challenges, with what seems a completely new or messed up brain. nasty and terrible as the initial weeks are, the time after is hard in its own way, and one that perhaps is even more lonely (as everyone around us perhaps expects us to be 'normal' again once we've finished puking or whatever we've had as withdrawal!
unfortunately something like this, it can leave a scar, a massive one, that will take time to heal, and that's when we also need each other.
