I have been on Cymbalta for 2 years and I was on 120mg. I just started a new job and there was a gap between my insurance and I can't afford two 60 mg pills at $12 per pill. I knew that it was going to come down to this and tried weaning myself 1 month ago and felt really dizzy...scarey dizzy and I started taking my normal dose again....well, I put two and two together and did'nt allow it to fully sink into my head that this is where I would be again. Well, now it has sunken in and it has been 3-4 days since taking any Cymbalta and I feel terribly dizzy, and feel like I am outside of my body, i can't sleep at night because I sleep all day, and my knees and legs are in so much pain....errrrr. I started taking a lot of herbal supplements about a month ago hoping that this would counteract anything I may go thru but I didn't realize it would be this bad. I read a post today and bought some dramamine for my dizzyness and also the post said to buy omega 3 oil which i have...can someone tell me what the omega oil does? i am planning on adding it to my naturaul regimen as is, but I would like to understand the theory behind it. I also have been drinking a lot of water and have been eating really healthy such as drinking protein shakes, something that I started anyways because I want to beat depression naturally and deplete my body from poisonouss drugs such as Cymbalta. I also have my clonapan that I am currently taking for my anxiety, I think that will help with the weaning off of Cymbalta and thankfully I have a lot of that because the doctor originally wanted me to take 3 per day but I felt fine with taking one...after I deplete my body from this evilpoison called Cymbalta then I will be weaning myself off of the clonapan....Someone please tell me ehat else I can do...my insurance will be kicking in in about 1 week but I have gone this far so please give me your honest input......  :(

Deecat, welcome to the site. If you can get off this crapalta I would do it. It can cause permanent liver damage, permanent sexual damage (see condition called post ssri sexual dysfunction), and too many other side effects to list here. It is simply too hard on the body. Most can successfully get off this crap with the bead counting method. There are a few though that simply have to go back on some other med to handle their problems but you have to try.

These ups and downs have to be killing you!!! urg!!
