Hi Everyone, thanks for everyone who helps and posts here.

I saw someone detail their Cymbalta use like this and liked it:

Cymbalta 60mg

Been on it since summer of 2009 (I think I was on 20, then 30, then 40 etc...It kept stopping working after several months each time though 60 has worked (theoretically) for over a year... it was prescribed to counteract Adderall anger.  Adderall I take 20mg and it does help my ADD)

I was never depressed just my Dr said childhood trauma (grew up in an emotionally abusive home) and a 10 year crappy marriage meant I should be depressed so that my coping skills were masking it.

Regular side effects were mostly apathy, I still have emotions but before I was a laugh and cry emotional woman (probably because of Female ADD) now just extreme funny or sad makes me laugh or cry

Want to get off it because of all the side effects, been taking it too long, don't like taking meds etc

I have gone cold turkey before due to this drug being so damn expensive and being out of money or not being able to reach my doc for refill.  But I always only make it 3-4 days because of vertigo and diziness and sometimes the nightmares and the body aches, by day 4 I get where I cannot lift my head to get out of bead.  This time it's been 3 days because of financial issues and we can get a refill today (payday) so I'm going to do bead counting since right now I can't even stand up or move without having the vertigo go crazy.

Here is my question:

Does anyone else struggle with vertigo and motion sickness in regular life?  I get motion sick VERY easily, even when I was little.  Dramamine works for me but the non drowsy doesn't, and the regular makes me soooo tired.  I have tired the bands and bonine and they don't work for me.  I even get car sick driving myself and have had times where I either have to pull over to get sick or get home and have to lay face down and perfectly still for an hour to feel better.  I also can get motion sick from things that vibrate like pillows or kids toys.  I cannot go on boats even with dramamine.  In other words lifelong annoyance.

All of this has happened on and off Cymbalta so I'm hoping for tips or tricks that help kill the dizziness vertigo symptoms druing my withdrawal.  I am a nanny and also work weekends in retail.  I have to be able to drive and bend and lift and such while withdrawing, this is also while I am choosing bead counting. Plus I can't risk being out of my mind with my babies (they are all under 3). In addition, I have an 8 year old of my own.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. My doctor told me Cymbalta will be available in Dec in generic so I'm guessing in 2014 expect a lot more traffic here since I know even more doctors will be prescribing this no no nice drug.
