hi I have been on cymbalta now for about 6 months, I had a baby alst year who was very sick.. constant screaming and I needed something to help me through, I did not feel depressed. doctor put me on prozac which worked for a while then started to make me feel sick, he then put me on prethydon and same happened was grand then made me ill. she then put me on cymbalta. I dont need these any more as my baby has been better now 4 months. Thing is I cant get off them im on 30mg a day and even weaning i am getting anxiety sweats vomiting tremors confusion cant think straight have no interest in my appearance and i feel so down, ive never been addicted to anything in my life. Thing is the doctor told me to go back on them!!! he obviously thinks because im getting anxiety I must still need them, I wasnt anxious going on them, I feel tricked and am so angry I cant get off them, i also have terrible mood swings like like i get when trying to give up smoking. Please can someone help me is there any med i can take to get off these horrible things

The biggest part of my frustration through all of this is that the doctors don't seem to understand or grasp this at all. I imagine it is hard to function and with a baby too. It is a shame Prozac made you feel sick, that is what is helping me with some of the withdrawal symptoms. My only advice would be to steady your body on the dose and the gradually decrease to wean off of it. I've never been addicted to anything either and this is horrible!

It has been terrible time for me as well trying to get off this drug. I pray that I will be able to as I don't like the SE and the withdrawal s/s are horrid.
