People telling me that after 5 weeks I should not be having any withdrawals from Cymbalta!!!! No one understands!! My husband thinks that I am just using this as an excuse to lay around. I wish for one day they could be in my shoes!!!

Those people who are telling you this- have they ever been addicted to Cymbalta? Navywife43, you and I and the other folks in here are the pioneers for this journey, so there is very little history for this poison. We are writing the history on this website. It's all new!

Many people don't go through a difficult and/or protracted withdrawal. But some of us do.

I am near 14 months off the drug. The bulk of my nasty withdrawal symptoms were gone within a few months, but even now at 14 months, I still have a thick-feeling scalp, but that's about all- so I'm elated!! I went through all the classic Cymbalta Descent Into Hell withdrawal symptoms, and at only 5 weeks out, you need support and compassion, not guilt. Be strong girl.

navywife43, at 5 weeks you are just getting over the hump. Sorry you are having problems with attitudes and ignorance. You just do everything you can to beat this and you have all the support from everyone on this site. We are right behind you. Go Girl!!
