    I want my life back!

Hi Pam...I just posted a long response to one of your posts in another forum, and am now rereading your earlier posts....you have come through so much and are so brave, wow!

A couple questions that will help us help you....

What other meds are you on?
How long, what dose, and for what med condition?
Which of those are you tapering?

You may want to considering staying on something....not cymbalta! ....for the pain....managing cymbalta withdrawal is complicated and hard enough in and of itself....high pain levels, and possibly withdrawal effects from other meds, may make it unnecessarily unpleasant and difficult for you to work through the cymbalta process....

FN, sure understand that comment about eyesight!! lol

Say my osteodr yesterday. He said I had plantar fasciitis. No exercise for a while. That will help my weight. NOT.

Fishinghat. .I have planters fasicilitis and had some bone spurs also. ..ouch! It's not fun that's for sure..I acquired mine from years of plating tennis and working on those indestructible laboratory floors..Very hard cold surfaces in the lab...Suffered with it for years.. Still do although it's much better than it was..If you need to be on your feet, and what worked for me was the very expensive athletic/tennis sneaker made by New Balance...Also I wear K swiss tennis sneakers especially when exercising...There is also an insert for (remove able insert shoes or sneakers) by Orth a heel which is geared toward planters fasicilitis. ..Listen to your doctor and never ever use shoes with memory foam! Memory foam..As it speaks for itself....memory foam has memory..lol lol..But it is true...Once your weight shifts the memory foam stays the same..It doesn't shift with the individuals new weight...causes havoc on your feet...I don't even use memory foam pillows or the mattress...Memory foam anything is not good for much these days especially if individuals have any aches or pains with fluctuating weight....Just some info to ease your pain...:)

Thanks for the info Carleeta. My case of PF has been very light. I have some good inserts but I am in the process of getting some of the custom made ones. I already were the good New Balance. But here it is not even a week later and I have no pain!! I am hoping it stays that way. lol

FH, you spend most of your time here helping the rest of us with our various and sundry issues....but I don't think you've mentioned recently how You are doing wrt cymbalta withdrawal....how are you? Any symptoms? Are you feeling well enough that you'll be able to go fishing (pontoon boat, right?) with your wife this spring?

Carleeta, I love your sense of humor. That alone will help you through your rough times. You are loved and appreciated.
