Excuse my English but is not my native language.

Hi, I just take one pill of Cymbalta 60 MG.  And with that I got all the withdraw symptoms, the same day I had to go to the ER because my blood pressure was 170/105, my body temperature was 35.8 degrees Celsius and I felt dizzy with chills. Two weeks have passed and I still have spontaneous symptoms, usually at night came whit panic attacks. It’s amazing that I just take one pill and get all the symptoms.

I’m wanted to put my symptoms here.

For the first 5 day´s: severe symptoms.

HBP 160/100

Low Body Temperature 35.9 C.

Dizziness.

Chills.

Weakness.

Panic attacks.

Vertigo.

Confusion.

Brain zaps.

The next days to now: moderate symptom’s.

Dizziness.

Vertigo.

Chills.

Weakness.

Brain zaps.

Panic attacks.

My blood pressure is ok but I get medicine for HBP.

Cymbalta is POISON be careful, I hope that my symptoms pass quickly.

Welcome to the site luka and don't worry about your english.  If I understand correctly you just started the cymbalta and all this happened? You have only taken one pill and have not taken any more in the last 2 weeks? Is that right.

That would probably be considered a allergic reaction to the medicine. I wouldn't think that it would last more than another week or two with steady improvement during that time. You should talk the reaction over with your doctor. He may give you a light dose of xanax or valium to help you through this rough spot but I think you should see him.

Thanks for your recommendation; I’m going to ask my doctor about this, Thanks.

To learn from others that have been where I am now. Maybe someday I will be able to help someone else.

We are very fortunate to have people like fishinghat that know so much about this medication, it's side effects and symptoms. Best of luck Luka, hope you feel better.

it could be an allergic reaction but also sounds like possibly a reaction to missing a dose/not taking on time - i know for me if i missed a single dose or did not take a dose when scheduled i got full-on withdrawal symptoms. i hope things go well with your doc!

luka hi and welcome to the Cymbalta support forum. I hope things get better for you. I agree with fishinghat this is probably an allergic reaction to this medication. Prayers for you and let us know how you're doing!
