Every minute we see that people are trying to find a way to heal.  And the horror is that they are working alone from within the disease. I say disease, because I believe the Antidepressant Disease (living with, withdrawing, and attempting to recover from antidepressants) is real, and it was created. It was hatched out of greed.

The impact of the disease is everywhere, and it's grossly under-reported. What television network will allow their news department to run a documentary on, "Antidepressants and Contemporary Mass Murder" when their station is funded by antidepressant manufacturers? (2.5 billion dollars worth of TV ads per year!).

This disease has a number of stages, and the latter stages is what this forum mostly seeks to explore: Questions like, 'Is this disease for life?'; 'Will I ever feel normal again?'; 'Why am I feeling worse after receiving medical treatment than I was when I started?'

People have always trusted the medical industry, but sadly, the pharmaceutical industry has been transported into the room on the legitimate and traditionally-honorable coattails of the physicians. BigPharma has mesmerized the neighbourhood doctor with its smarmy sociopathic troop of sales and promo drones. The Neo-Psychiatrist has gleefully jumped aboard the BigPharma Gravy Train by happily swapping the labour-intensive couch for the instant gratification of the prescription pad which prominently displays the BigPharma logo.

And it's a perfect designer-disease. Nobody can figure it out; it's a serpent without head or tail; there's nobody to blame or accuse:  it's self-perpetuating, revenue-generating, undiagnosable, incurable, you-can't-get-there-from-here, Catch-22, amorphous, chameleon, shadow-pseudo-symptomatic-now-you-see-it-now-you-don't. Sublime!

"And so doctor, what would you recommend to help me gather my life back?"

The doctor flips through your file with the tip of his pen and furtively glances at his watch.

"Well," he says, "Let's try you on a different antidepressant."

And so it goes.

Yes that is just the way it continues to go and go and go....sad very sad indeed.

You know thismoment, as I was reading that I noticed how it sounded like you were describing our government.
