    Withdrawal from Cymbalta.

Posted 11 June 2014 - 05:22 PM

Hi all, I know I haven't been on here for a very long time. Life has been hectic lately and I cut out some of my time on this computer. Just wanted all of you to know that I'm on my way now to only taking 30 mg. of Cymbalta. I have a few more days to go. I now take two out a day and if I feel it's too much I stay where I am a few days and then continue on with the deducting. I have to say it's gone really well. I get spacey in the head sometimes and I've had some grouchy days, so I stay away from people who tend to tick me off, or I explain why I'm such a pain. But overall it's been good. I really think the Xanex .25 Mgs. help. If I feel too bad I take the other half later in the day. I'm sleeping okay and haven't felt depressed. I am also doing the ginger tea with my smoothie and it's helped so much. When I get down to 30 mgs I'm going to stay there for a bit because I'm going to Oregon to visit my family and don't want to loose it while I'm there. LOL. Then I'll start tapering off when I get home again.

I checked out that site Fivenotions and it's really a good one. I, because I found all of you, have done most of what they said there. You all were the ones who gave me those suggestions though and I appreciate it.

It's raining cats and dogs here today and so I've been getting stuff done around the house. I'm hoping we don't have too hot of a summer. Oh, I got my new furnace put in yesterday and it has a fan on it that will circulate my air conditioning that I have in my windows. That was a nice surprise. I do find that the heat still really gets to me and that's one of the effects of Cymbalta, I've found. The city here helped me get my new furnace and my church paid for the rest. God is so good. My electrical will be done in a week and a half and then I'm off to Oregon to visit my kids and grand daughter. I can't wait. I'll try to get on here more. Please don't think I've forgotten any of you. I wouldn't be where I am today without all of you. Love to everyone. Ginny
