I finally decided to get up enough nerve to look inside one of my 30 mg capsules and there are 6 beads in the capsule and the manufacturer is Lupin Pharamaeutical (blue and white capsules). Who manufacture's your Cymbalta?

Then you're taking the generic...duloxetine....Lupin is one of a number of cos who jumped into making the generic as soon as the Lilly brand cymbalta came off of patent protection....

I had an rx for the generic, mine was made in India, by Citron Co. Tried one tab of it and had a deadly awful reaction....couldn't afford the brand as had lost my insurance...so, I quit cold turkey....

It seems that the generics have fewer beads....which means each bead contains more of the poison than the beads in the brand cymbalta....that makes bead counting with the generic a bit trickier....
I'll defer to others with more experience to comment further.....
