Hey Y'all! I was put on Cymbalta for severe Post Adoption Depression. I was on 30mg for a month than was upped to 60mg last May. ('08) This past June, I was weaned back to 30mg. Now I am off Cymbalta completely for the last 11 days and I still feel funky! How long does this last? I am dizzy, parts of my face go numb and it feels like I've developed IBS.
Help!
Off of Cymbalta 11 days and still feel awful

For a lot of us, our withdrawal took longer than 11 days. Just take this one day at a time, and you will get past this. The digestive issues are common with those of us posting here. So is the dizziness and tingling issues. Hang in there.... You may want to try some of the otc medicines that other forum members have tried for specific withdrawal issues. There are suggestions of supplements and nutrition found here too.
Be patient and treat yourself very well. Let us all know how you are doing as you walk this path.....Houdi

I hear you regarding the 'no one told me.' My internist is a great MD, had NO idea Cymbalta created such issues. She won't prescribe anymore! Good for her.
Post your specific questions about withdrawal symptoms and I know forum members will chime in. There is a plethora of members in different stages of withdrawal currently active here. Many will chime in. Take what works for you. We all know we are different, so suggestions are just that. No one gets upset or pushy. We are here to support you.
Best wishes...Houdi
