THIS IS AN EDIT- AUGUST 02.
I deleted the original posting that was here as it was confusing (it appeared as though I had written the posting, but in fact it was simply a re-post from Cymsik).
Equuswoman asked who had posted about "Ragamuffin", and I searched it and found it in a post from CymSik. So I copied and pasted that post.
That's it; sorry about the confusion.

FN, check (bought a 20lb bag of Epsom salts & 5lb bag of Baking soda)' check on each As I've read those helps here? Praying like never before & have deriving the most comfort from (other than the Psalms) a book called 'The Ragamuffin Gospel' by Brennan Manning (awesome, you might wanna check it out) 'written for the bedraggled, beat up & burnt out.'
I am TRYING and know sleep is essential but why is it so elusive...the lack of, I believe must be breaking me down and creating the dark, shadowy thoughts.
Can medications back fire after stopping The Crap! I am bawling trying to write this! It is not pity it is helplessness at how, little control I have over controlling this emotional/physical havoc!
Thismoment. It's ok to cry and feel. We are all as strong as we are weak, Human nature. You give so much of yourself to so many here on this forum, I often wonder how much you replenish yourself, if at all. It sounds as if you have given so much, you have neglected to let others and including yourself give back to your. You are left empty and not refilling your loving fuel. If this is the case, and I might totally be wrong here, you will feel the saddest story or movie and bring it right inside of you and start to feel the actual pain of others...This could be a good thing when listening and understanding others, although you need to put back into yourself what has been drawn away. Just like inhaling and exhaling. What I don't know is if this is a reaction, after some time being off Cymbalta, and popping back in. What I do know is, if I'm right in what I am getting from your post, this can easily be taken care of.
Please keep us posted. I am concerned about your post....

Awe thismoment I'm sad that you are having this difficulty. I don't know the answer to this but perhaps some of the others here do.
Love and prayers for you my precious friend from TheEquusWoman xoxoxo

No problem here, but thanks for your concern. I simply forwarded that posting from CymSik to you (CS was the one who first mentioned Ragamuffin).
I'll go back and edit the confusing post now.

Yes, EW, I am really enjoying reading The Ragamuffin Gospel! I watched a movie called 'Ragamuffin' that led me to Brennan Manning's books. I ordered several off Amazon & honestly, his writing has relieved a lot of conflict, that has haunted & plagued me since childhood, about a personal relationship with God. I was raised in 'fire & brimstone fundamentalism' that had me running as fast & faraway as I could from a god, little g, that was so scary to me & condemning:(. Manning's writing is a Godsend for me that speaks straight to the hearts of 'the dirty, bedraggled, and beat-up that come to Him as ragamuffins.'
I hope to hear from you after you have read it with your thoughts;) Blessings & cyber hugs, Rebecca

Hi CymSik
I don't think we have to worry about folks (President Obama's favourite word) being confused for long; after a few days everything gets buried; there's a kind of circle of life organic metaphor on the forum that renders all text into sedimentary wafers after a short time. Some future archeologist cyborg will unfold the layers with steel fingers and rasp in a hollow metallic voice, "What the f. . . ?"

You are so kind- thank you! I must say I that you inject a fabulously refreshing flavour of off-the-wall humanity that never fails to lift my spirits! As humans, we do our best work off-the-wall! But not in a Mary Poppins floating under the umbrella with her hair done off-the-wall, but more like star-drifting with Cosmic Muffin in dreads, "Dude . . . look at my arms- they're rising my themselves! Oh wow you should see your dreads! I don't think I'll make it home for dinner- are these my colours or yours? Have you noticed that the universe hums in perfect pitch?'
