My doctor told me to start halving my 20 mg capsules, 10 in a.m. And 10 at noon.
After Awhile I was still having outbursts so he told me to remove half the morning dose...eyeballing it
It's making me crazy having to eyeball the capsule amounts into new capsules then remembering to remove the extra beads into "the trash" without spilling them...He didn't tell me to count anything...
Now I am concerned that when I put the excess beads away they are different amounts each time making my dose different every time!!

well, at least he recognizes the value of splitting the lowest dose available - most docs think that's crazy. do you have to throw the ones you dump out away? can you put them into empty caps you can buy at a health/natural food store? i think that's how the bead counters do it. i eyeballed and used extra caps but yes, that was a hassle and didn't work well compared to the counting method others used. wish i'd known at the time...
