Thank you Luz.

He and Spaghetti ran out the door as my son came in the door after school. The dogs run across the street to the neighbors yard. We have snow and ice on the ground and with the humidity so low, their pads get pretty dry too.
The vet said she is getting comfortable with you

Good grief, glad Benzo is healing and that Spaghetti is okay after the antibiotic o.d.!! My 7 lb papillon, Mickey Mouse, survived eating a 40mg OxyContin, I apparently dropped on the carpet, 1 1/2 yrs ago! I wish I had known about the hydrogen peroxide then to induce vomiting! It was a horrible 24 hour ordeal :o

Zappa, how is Toby (Dollar, Richy Rich's dog!) doing?

Shady he is in full recovery mode  albeit needing a bath and getting this Shade plastic collar off.  He had his eye sutures removed on Wed and the Vet wants to hire me as 'A wound home remedy specialist' lol   I knocked her bill down by about 3 grand lol.

zappAlta, that is great news about Toby!

My puppy will not keep a bandage on for more than an hour. I give up! I made a bootie for him so that he can go outside in the snow without irritating it, but in the house he won't keep anything on it. It is healing well and I'm sure it will be find but he is not a good patient and I'm apparently a bad wound specialist.

Try this Done With >> use a long knee high sock (adult or child size) slit it in 2 parts half way down or more giving you 2 long strips which you can then tie up around his body -you could even use 2 socks as extra padding.

My puppy, Benzo, is so big! He weighs around 60 pounds at 10 1/2 months.
I think he knows I have not been feeling well because he sleeps right next to me every night and during the day if I lay down.

We are still trying to find someone to watch him and Spaghetti while we are in Disney World next week.

I can take him with me. Dogs like to ride in tea cups. Right? Lol

Hi Renee

Dogs are empaths.

There was an episode of Star Trek (season 3 episode 12) called "The Empath", where a female empath (Gem) absorbs the pain of any sufferer she touches. But this compassionate and selfless action leaves her weak and eventually near death. It's a good one!

Hi Renee!

So happy that Benzo is such wonderful company for you!  My dogs always come near me if I cry - they are so amazing!

If only people could be as empathic!
