I just don't get it. The first 4 studies show that Cymbalta is "safe and effective" for depression and fibro.

BUT when you read the data they obtained they report high amounts of side effects and people having to discontinue because of side effects. I guess that makes it safe and effective if no one died.

The last one shows that Cymbalta can cause liver damage.

This article shows that research demonstrates that babies born that are Cymbalta exposed had a 40% abnormality rate. This is the same rate as the general public (Really?) and therefore Cymbalta does not pose a threat. Short paper and interesting reading.

actually there is no doubt that its "safe" to say that cymbalta is "effective" in generating side effects. no one said they were good ones.

Just wanted to point out an error I made on that second post (12:30 PM). I originally stated "a 4% abnormality rate". That should read "a 40% abnormality rate'. I have changed the original entry.
